Spielberg's Role: Director

The second in the Trilogy, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom was just exiting as the First. The Spielberg/Lucas combination flourished once again in the first sequel to The Lost Ark.

The plot revolves around magically controlled children and glowing mystical stones, which must be returned to their rightful owners. And of course the only one who can do this is Indiana Jones and his new sidekicks.

Staring with Harrison Ford in this film is actress Kate Capshaw, who was later to become Mrs. Spielberg.

The Temple of Doom was apparently less popular at the Oscars, but this is common with sequels. For die hard fans I have included the script to the movie below.
